I'm sticking with my original suggestion. Don't write a song just to try to "win" a girl over. Here's an example. I've known quite a few musicians over the course of my life. One guy starts playing some song about love and romance, and stuff that was fairly generic. It wasn't the song that turned me off of the situation, it was that he was basically thinking he could impress me with it. It's the attitude behind it.

Why don't you try Meetup, where you can actually meet someone who lives nearby you in person? It's easy to break the ice at Meetup functions because nearly everyone shows up alone and they are all there hoping to talk to and meet new people. I don't see why you are wasting your time talking online to women who live on the other side of the world if you are really interested in finding a girlfriend. There are probably thousands of Meetup groups in the San Francisco area. I feel like a broken record with you guys, but I can't imagine why you won't at least try it out. I met loads of new friends and my boyfriend via Meetup.

At my age most of the women I date have kids. I generally meet the kids by third or fourth date and the same with my kids 26yo son and 15yo daughter. I think once you meet someone who you feel you like and are comfortable with there is no reason to keep them hidden from the kids. I do find women seem to be more reluctant to introduce me to their sons than daughters for some reason?

I had 2 dates with this guy... which were just drinking (his idea) at a bar. Now he asked me to come over, to bus over to his house (I don't drive) and have a few drinks and the past 2 times he picked me up. Honestly, I feel like he just sees me as a cheap and easy date.
