At least the crowd on here says at this point she's blowing me off and that I should look elsewhere. Well, I sent her an e-mail today (Tuesday), saying in a slightly more verbose way than in the text that I would like to see her again and suggested dinner on Thursday...fully expecting to get blown off, but it wasn't hard to write the letter. At this point, I get an e-mail response a few hours later saying that she's busy for the next two weeks, but that we should reconnect when her world calms down. The two week thing would normally sound like a blow off, or at least like she's seeing someone else, but given her work, I'm prone to believing her very busy schedule over the next two weeks...although it's hard to think that she can't find at least one evening for a quick dinner.

Easyguy14, those two you mentioned are what I've noticed too. Unfortunately too many look at dating sites as "for losers" and thus refuse to try them, or try to secretly join hoping their friends and coworkers won't run across them. I think if you're looking for a cool relationship, you should concentrate on improving your income situation. At the same time, date around and enjoy companionship of ladies but don't expect things to go too far. Your income is currently near poverty level (not to be insulting or disrespectful). This will not impress most women. Even the very nice ones are looking to maintain or improve their lot in life. Please don't be discouraged. Work hard and your ship will come in, I promise. I just had to get this message to you because you're young and this is the time to become agressive about getting or creating work that will produce a good income. If you have to move home because of your income level now, can you imagine yourself struggling to support a family. Ladies aren't stupid. It's also not cruel in any way for them to look for a male who makes sufficient funds to show them a good time and who has the potential to support a family in the future.

fact of the matter is, i know he's still interested in her... and despite all the crap he's pulled in the past, she, God knows why, still cares about him. i really hate being in this sitatuation, because im going to seem like the bad guy, because she might think i come off as 1) possessive, paranoid, and jealous, which im not (most of her friends are guys, and i dont mind that she hangs with them at all - its just, i dont think a girl who's attached has any business staying over at a guy friend's place, especially if its planned out like this), and 2) that i dont want her friendship with her ex to work at all, even tho i REALLY wish they were truly just friends so that i dont have to worry about it anymore.
